why or why not?
I would actually say yes. She could know what NOT to do to make a relationship work.
Being divorced doesn’t mean that someone wouldn’t have good advice for others. Sometimes it’s actually easier to give advice for someone else than it is to give to ourselves and that’s because an outsiders opinion is *typically* unbiased or not compromised by feelings.

Dating advice, maybe. Marriage advice, probably not. (Unless of course, she got divorced because he was abusive, in that case, don’t take her dating advice either.)

if it was her fault she got a divorce both times then no bc obviously she’s not good at relationships, but if it wasn’t her fault then sure.

yes though it may not be the same situations. she has experience. you dont have to follow up on all of it but take some of the things and apply to your life. better yet take it like a suggestion box.

It can be.. Sometimes it takes people that may times (or more) of being divorced before they learn some of the really important lessons in dating & marriage. But at the same time, she could very easily give bad dating advice… I mean, she has gone through two marriages, which is never a good sign.
Marriage is a two-way street though, so all the blame may not be on her!!
You can usually tell if it’s good advice or not though. Just go with your heart and it never hurts to bounce any advice you get off of other people.

Follow your gut feelings.
