If you could travel in time and go back when you where young to give yourself dating advise what would u say? ?
I often wish i could do that. I wasn’t allowed to date anyone in my adolescence or have contact with the opposite sex,my mother was very controlling, so when i turned 20, I begun dating but i never had anyone to turn to to see if everything in my relationship was normal or to set me straight on what a love between a couple meant and the etiquette that should be followed for a successful relationship.
Now after much heartbreak, sorrow and mistakes made i feel i’ve gathered enough information as to what to do and not to do and i have a wonderful loving relationship, even if i do not know everything, i am sure i have some knowledge that may come in handy.
So whenever i see young people who are confused as to what to do about their love life, I always wanna help by giving my humble advise or opinion, cause i see a little of the person i used to be.

i would tell my younger self to take care of my need a well, not to always sacrifice my self for others also tell my elf to use time wisely because what i do everyday makes up who i am in the long run.

Any one else laughed so much at magzines or books about dating advise?
Does any find mags, articles or books on dating and relationships hilarious? My friend had one today, so I skimmed through a few pages and it was a joke. Mostly it was full of stereotypes and the author’s point of view of both genders, I guess most of these types of books are like that. I suppose the author is just trying to make a buck or two, can’t blame them.

These kinds of books make me laugh. Why do people even read these, because no 2 people are alike so books not going to help.
Why would anyone read these let alone take them seriously? You know that it’s just the authors opinions and what they want to believe. They know about as much as the next person on dating and relationships. Why do some people take the authors advise so seriously?
The best "advice" I ever read was this:
A relationship will run the most smoothly when the woman is getting everything she wants.
!!!! Basically the entire premise was that the man’s function in the relationship is to cowtow to the woman and be her little slave. I actually sent in an email to the person who wrote it. She never got back to me. lol

What is the best advise you can give to the disabled about dating?
Study show that they are less likely to be ablie to find mates ,and are more likly to live a life of solitude.
Develop a relationship with someone first and see if you are compatible with time and don’t ask random people out! This is where I see a lot of people getting into trouble. Finding someone takes time and finding someone for life may never happen. My longest relationship was a year mainly because they moved and left for someone closer to home.
Also I should tell you that some people are not exactly happy in relationships. If you want a relationship you should want one not for the fact of loneliness but for the fact that you love them, that they are a dear friend, and you share something that you feel is impossible to have with anyone else. A good relationship never has fights, often lasts for a long time, and would in theory survive long distances… but you must realize that a relationship is not a one person game. Both people should be mutually content.
When it comes to studies they are all well and good but they don’t analyze an individual, every individual has their own obstacles to overcome. The best advice is to either never give up, or do the exact opposite but keep a window open for opportunity. If you do the opposite, find things in life that you enjoy and pursue them with a passion, forget about actively finding a personal mate. If someone happens to come your way accept them or make sure they are right for you before you except them. Solitude in some senses may be far better then a relationship! Always realize that and don’t let yourself be caught up in depression because you don’t have someone. I have seen a lot of bad relationships, I have seen a lot of relationships that people are together for the sake of being together, and I have found relationships that appear to a match that out does everything else. I guess this is not my best advice because this is general advice and it is not specified to the individual! So I hope the general advice helped a little.
